Unsere Dokumentarfilmproduktion \u201eEINGEBRANNT \u2013 Frauen und ihr allt\u00e4glicher Widerstand w\u00e4hrend der deutschen Besatzung auf Kreta 1941-1945\u201c erz\u00e4hlt Geschichte aus der Perspektive der Frauen. Die Interviews mit den kretischen Frauen berichten davon wie deutsche Flieger kretische St\u00e4dte bombardierten, Wehrmachts-Soldaten D\u00f6rfer verbrannten und zerst\u00f6rten, wie Frauen, Kinder, alte Menschen vertrieben und hingerichtet wurden. Die Zeitzeuginnen erz\u00e4hlen vom Kampf ums \u00dcberleben, dem Widerstand in den Bergen, von Frauen, die auf sich gestellt waren. Sie sprechen \u00fcber \u00c4ngste, Hoffnung und \u00fcber ihren Umgang mit dem Krieg und den deutschen Besatzern. Neben diesen dokumentarischen Berichten wollen wir Unerz\u00e4hlbares durch das Medium des Puppentheaters sichtbar machen.

Our documentary film production \u201cEINGEBRANNT\u201d (ENGRAVED \u2013 Women and their everyday resistance during the German occupation in Crete 1941-1945) shows history through a female perspective. In the interviews, Cretan women narrate the bombardment of their cities by German soldiers, the destruction and burning down of their villages and the executions of women, children and elders. They talk about the resistance in the mountains, about strong women who were left alone, their struggle for survival and their stance towards the conquerors. Besides the stories of the witnesses we want to show what hasn\u2019t been narrated, through the medium of puppet theatre. In Crete we are collaborating with the puppet theatre group \u201cFirdin Migdin\u201d and the collective Obscura Lab.<\/p>\n
